He has extensive experience within the payment industry. During the period 2004 until 2018 Mike was the CEO of the UK’s systemically important payments systems (Bacs, CHAPS and Faster Payments). He was an integral part of the industry initiative led to the New Payments Architecture (NPA) vision, including overlay services such as Request To Pay and Confirmation of Payee.
