Protection of human rights
Human rights protection is a top priority for our organisation. In any country where SurePay operates, we will make sure that our actions do not infringe upon human rights in any way. We maintain an air of professionalism and discretion at all times, and we handle our stakeholders, clients, and coworkers with the utmost respect. Allowing all people to keep their dignity is an essential part of this, regardless of our nationality, place of residence, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other status.
Fair labour standards
We understand that inclusive and sustainable business growth requires fair salaries for employees, and our business thrives when people around us do well. Making sure that employees are paid a fair salary benefits economies and promotes prosperity. This is also consistent with our conviction in respecting and treating one other with dignity. In line with that SurePay fully respects the rights of its employees, such as freedom of association and rejects all forms of forced or compulsory labour, modern slavery, and all forms of child labour.
Fair operating practice
We aim to have a positive impact on society, by preventing misdirected payments and fraud. The existence of SurePay starts with care: It is SurePay’s mission to contribute to a safe payment system. It started with the innovative Confirmation of Payee (CoP) solution, outside of UK also known as Verification of Payee (VoP), all to protect both our clients and their customers against threat of fraud, providing them assurance that their payments are going to the intended beneficiary also cross-border and multi-domestic. In the meantime innovative services and products such as our Confirmation of Payee have followed all to contribute to a safe payment system and care for our clients and community.
Protecting the environment.
The SurePay headquarters reside in a flexible workspace in the centre of Utrecht. This flexibility does accommodate SurePay’s need for the possibility of enlarging the space fit to the organisational growth. This flexibility does also prevent wasted space in high-rent areas, which contributes to the environment. In addition the office building takes energy efficiency measures, including energy-efficient lighting and timers to shut o or ramp down cooling & heating systems.
SurePay is not just about securing payments, it's about securing a better, greener future for generations to come.
– David-Jan Janse, CEO SurePay
